How does factor VIII + von willebrand factor work?
Von Willebrand factor helps platelets attach at damaged blood vessels and protects factor VIII from rapid breakdown. Factor VIII supports processes that generate thrombin and fibrin. Replacing both proteins supports platelet adhesion and stable clot formation.

How to take factor VIII + von willebrand factor
Use only as instructed by the specialist team. Reconstitute the powder aseptically with the supplied solvent, gently swirl rather than shake, and inspect the solution before intravenous administration.
Do not use a cloudy solution or one containing visible flakes or particles.
Do not mix it with other medicines in the same syringe or infusion.
Record the product name and batch number each time it is used.
Home administration should only follow appropriate training.
