How does human coagulation factor X work?
Factor X has a key role in the clotting cascade. Once activated to factor Xa, it helps generate thrombin, which converts fibrinogen into the fibrin mesh that stabilises a blood clot. Replacement temporarily restores this missing step.

How to take human coagulation factor X
It is given into a vein. Reconstitute the powder only with the supplied water and transfer device; gently swirl rather than shake. Use only a clear, colourless or slightly opalescent solution without particles or deposits. Home administration requires specialist training.
Bring the vials to room temperature without heating above the stated storage limit.
Use the reconstituted solution immediately where possible.
Do not mix it with another medicine in the same preparation.
Record the product name and batch number for traceability.
