dexketoprofen + tramadol in pregnancy
This combination is contraindicated during pregnancy. Dexketoprofen can affect fetal kidney and cardiovascular function and increase bleeding risks, while repeated tramadol exposure may cause neonatal withdrawal or breathing effects. Contact the prescriber if pregnant, planning pregnancy or pregnancy occurs.
dexketoprofen + tramadol while breastfeeding
This combination is contraindicated while breastfeeding because dexketoprofen milk-transfer data are insufficient and tramadol and its metabolites enter breast milk. Specialist guidance about tramadol alone does not override this product-specific contraindication; discuss alternatives with a prescriber.
dexketoprofen + tramadol interactions
Check prescribed, pharmacy and recreational substances before use. Important interactions include:
Other NSAIDs, including ibuprofen, naproxen and anti-inflammatory-dose aspirin
Increased risk of gastrointestinal ulceration, bleeding and kidney injury.
Warfarin, heparins and antiplatelet medicines
Bleeding risk may increase and closer monitoring may be needed.
MAO inhibitors
Concurrent or recent use is contraindicated because serious central nervous system, breathing and cardiovascular reactions may occur.
Common questions about dexketoprofen + tramadol
Answers are fully visible for fast scanning and source review.
Can it be taken with ibuprofen?
Not unless specifically directed by a clinician. Dexketoprofen is already an NSAID, and adding ibuprofen or another NSAID increases gastrointestinal bleeding and kidney risks.
Can it be taken with paracetamol?
Paracetamol does not duplicate either active ingredient, but check with a pharmacist or prescriber and ensure no other product contains paracetamol or tramadol.
Can I drink alcohol?
No. Alcohol can increase drowsiness, impaired reactions and respiratory depression.
