Squamous cell carcinoma in inguinal lymph nodes most commonly originates from the anogenital region (anal canal, vulva, vagina, cervix, penile skin) or lower limb skin. Clinical examination of the perineum, digital rectal examination, gynaecological examination, and anoscopy should be performed. PET-CT can help identify the primary. This is a favourable CUP subset: if no primary is found, definitive inguinal lymph node dissection ± chemoradiotherapy can be curative.
