Factors VII, IX and X help activate the clotting cascade. Factor II is converted to thrombin, enabling fibrin clot formation. Proteins C and S help limit clotting activity.
How to take factor II + factor IX + factor VII + factor X + protein c + protein s
Treatment is started and supervised by a clinician experienced in coagulation disorders. The powder is reconstituted aseptically with its supplied solvent and given intravenously. Only clear or slightly opalescent solution without particles should be used. It must not be diluted or mixed with other medicines.
