Why is caution needed when maraviroc is taken with medicines that lower blood pressure?

Caution is needed with maraviroc and blood-pressure-lowering medicines because symptomatic postural hypotension occurred more frequently than with placebo in healthy volunteers receiving doses above those recommended.
