Oxycodone hydrochloride taken with SSRI or SNRI antidepressants may cause serotonin toxicity, including mental-status changes, autonomic instability, neuromuscular abnormalities or gastrointestinal symptoms; oxycodone should be used cautiously and its dose may need reducing.
