Premenopausal women taking mitotane have developed non-malignant ovarian macrocysts, often bilateral and multiple, which may be asymptomatic or cause pelvic pain or discomfort, vaginal bleeding or menstrual disorders, with isolated cases of adnexal torsion and haemorrhagic cyst rupture.
