For Schedule 2, 3 and 4 CDs, prescription validity is 28 days from the appropriate date. Any owing balance must be supplied within that validity period. Methylphenidate is Schedule 2, so supply at day 31 would not be lawful. A new prescription is needed if continued treatment is required.
