Correct answer: BUse fast-acting carbohydrate for hypoglycaemia and review insulin around exercise with the diabetes team

Hypoglycaemia should be treated promptly with fast-acting carbohydrate, followed by longer-acting carbohydrate if needed. Chocolate is less suitable initially because fat delays glucose absorption. Recurrent episodes around exercise require review of carbohydrate intake, insulin timing and dose with the diabetes team. Extra insulin would worsen the problem.
