Correct answer: D — Obtain prescriber authority to add the missing address before supply

Regulation 217 requires the prescription to contain the patient’s name and address. Information held separately on the PMR does not make the paper prescription complete. The pharmacist should obtain the prescriber’s authority for a lawful correction before dispensing; an emergency-supply route would have to satisfy its own conditions and cannot be assumed merely because one prescription particular is missing.
