Correct answer: E — Two tablets at bedtime, with stepwise addition of morning and mid-afternoon doses if needed
Xonvea is licensed for nausea and vomiting of pregnancy in adults when conservative measures have not worked. The labelled starting dose is two tablets at bedtime on day 1. If symptoms persist into the afternoon of day 2, one morning tablet is added on day 3 while the two bedtime tablets continue; a mid-afternoon tablet can be added subsequently, to a maximum of four daily. It is scheduled treatment, not an after-vomiting PRN medicine.
