Correct answer: A — Permitted within the two-hour daily total if all other absence conditions remain met
The responsible pharmacist may be absent for an aggregate maximum of two hours during the pharmacy’s business hours on that day, subject to the required procedures, record, contactability and return arrangements. The limit is not two hours per trip, and a non-pharmacist cannot assume the statutory role. Absence does not automatically cancel the notice, but the permitted activities during absence still remain constrained by the law and procedure.
