The pharmacy record is made on the day of supply or, only where that is not reasonably practicable, on the following day. For a regulation 225 patient-request emergency supply, Schedule 23 requires the supply date; medicine name, quantity, form and strength where needed; the patient’s name and address; and the nature of the emergency. Sertraline does not require a controlled-drug-register entry.
