Dual antiplatelet therapy is commonly prescribed after acute coronary syndrome unless there is a specific reason to stop. The patient should be counselled on bleeding symptoms, adherence and when to seek help. Stopping one antiplatelet early may increase thrombotic risk. NSAIDs can increase cardiovascular and bleeding risk and should not be suggested casually.
