Rheumatoid vasculitis is a rare severe complication of long-standing, highly seropositive, nodular rheumatoid disease and can cause skin infarction and mononeuritis multiplex. Infection, embolic disease, cryoglobulinaemia and another systemic vasculitis must be excluded.
