Under regulation 224, the relevant prescriber must undertake to provide the pharmacy with a prescription within 72 hours beginning with the emergency sale or supply. The pharmacist must also satisfy the remaining conditions and make the required pharmacy record. An EPS token, PGD or countersignature of the pharmacy record is not the statutory undertaking.
