The dispensed quantity must be authorised by a valid prescription or lawful supply route. A message may prompt clarification but does not necessarily amend the prescription. The pharmacist should obtain an amended prescription if a larger quantity is required. Sertraline cannot be sold as an over-the-counter medicine.
