Correct answer: CMiller classification

The correct answer is C, the Miller classification, which grades clinical tooth mobility. Current SDCEP guidance records grade 0 as physiological mobility; grade 1 as increased horizontal mobility of no more than 1 mm; grade 2 as horizontal mobility exceeding 1 mm but less than 2 mm; and grade 3 as mobility in both horizontal and vertical directions. Angle classification describes molar relationships and malocclusion. Pell and Gregory classifies impacted mandibular third molars by their relationship to the ramus and occlusal plane, while Winter classification describes third-molar angulation. TNM is used to stage malignant tumours according to the primary tumour, regional lymph nodes and distant metastasis.
