Correct answer: BAdenomatoid odontogenic tumour

Adenomatoid odontogenic tumour is the single best diagnosis. Its characteristic presentation is a well-defined, usually unilocular lesion in the anterior maxilla of a female in the second decade, commonly associated with an unerupted canine. Fine punctate or flocculent calcifications within the radiolucency provide an additional diagnostic clue. A dentigerous cyst is the principal radiographic mimic because it surrounds the crown of an unerupted tooth, but it is usually entirely radiolucent. Ameloblastoma may be associated with an unerupted tooth but more commonly affects the posterior mandible and lacks this marked demographic pattern. A radicular cyst is associated with the apex of a non-vital erupted tooth. An odontogenic keratocyst does not characteristically combine an anterior maxillary site, impacted canine and fine calcifications.
