Reveal the answer and explanation

Correct answer: BChlorhexidine mouthwash

Chlorhexidine mouthwash is correct. It can cause reversible extrinsic discolouration of the teeth, tongue and some restorations. Transient taste disturbance and a burning sensation, particularly involving the tongue, may occur when treatment is started and usually diminish with continued use. Staining is not permanent, although professional scaling and polishing may occasionally be required. Metronidazole commonly causes a metallic taste but is not characteristically associated with brown tooth staining and oral burning. Amoxicillin is more commonly associated with gastrointestinal upset or hypersensitivity. Paracetamol and ibuprofen are analgesics and do not produce this characteristic combination of local oral adverse effects.
