A is correct. MHRA testing and incident review show that residue from paraffin-free as well as paraffin-containing emollients can soak into clothing, dressings and bedding and make them ignite faster and burn more intensely. Washing reduces but may not eliminate residue. The product is not itself spontaneously combustible; exposure of contaminated fabric to cigarettes, naked flames or other ignition sources is the danger.
