liquid paraffin + white soft paraffin at a glance
Type
Topical emollient cream.
Uses
Dry-skin symptom relief and soap substitute.
Fire safety
Residue on fabrics can make them ignite more easily and burn intensely.
What is liquid paraffin + white soft paraffin used for?
The selected product is licensed for topical use in adults, children and older people.
Symptomatic relief of dry skin.
A substitute for soap when washing skin.
How does liquid paraffin + white soft paraffin work?
The paraffins form an oily protective film on skin, reducing water loss and helping skin feel softer and less dry. Used for washing, it cleans without the drying effect of ordinary soap.
How to take liquid paraffin + white soft paraffin
For external use only. Smooth gently over skin rather than rubbing in. As a soap substitute, combine with warm water, spread over skin, rinse and pat dry. Use a clean spoon or spatula for tubs; treated skin, baths and floors may be slippery.
Do not use if the container seal is broken before first use.
Keep contaminated clothing, bedding and dressings away from smoking, naked flames and heat sources.
Washing fabrics alone does not remove the fire risk.
