Clinical pharmacology

Erenumab is a recombinant fully human IgG2 monoclonal antibody that competitively inhibits CGRP binding at its receptor. It is cleared mainly through target-mediated and nonspecific proteolytic pathways rather than cytochrome P450 metabolism.
