Answer
Isavuconazole, the active form of isavuconazonium sulfate, inhibits cytochrome P-450-dependent lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, blocking ergosterol synthesis and causing methylated sterol precursors to accumulate and membrane ergosterol to decrease, thereby weakening fungal cell membrane structure and function.
