In 19 healthy volunteers, rifampicin 600 mg daily reduced single-dose ponatinib 45 mg AUC by 62% and Cmax by 42%; co-administration should be avoided and alternatives sought unless the benefit outweighs the possible risk of ponatinib underexposure.
