In healthy subjects taking paricalcitol capsules, ketoconazole 200 mg twice daily for five days approximately doubled paricalcitol exposure (AUC), minimally affected peak concentration and increased mean half-life from 9.8 to 17 hours, so caution is needed with concurrent dosing.
