For how long must women of childbearing potential use contraception before, during and after isotretinoin treatment?

Women of childbearing potential must use at least one highly effective, user-independent contraceptive method or two complementary user-dependent methods for at least one month before isotretinoin, throughout treatment and for at least one month after stopping, even if they have amenorrhea.
