Ambrisentan is not expected to significantly affect exposure to oestrogen- or progestogen-based contraceptives, based on a healthy-volunteer study in which ambrisentan 10 mg daily at steady state did not significantly affect single-dose ethinyl estradiol or norethindrone pharmacokinetics.
