Can tolvaptan cause anaphylaxis?

Anaphylaxis, including anaphylactic shock, has been reported very rarely after tolvaptan, occurring after the first administration; if it occurs, tolvaptan must be stopped immediately, appropriate treatment initiated, and tolvaptan never restarted.
