Why should dairy products and antacids containing calcium, magnesium or aluminium not be taken concomitantly with Pylera?

Dairy products and antacids containing calcium, magnesium or aluminium should not be taken concomitantly with Pylera because they impair tetracycline absorption, although the clinical significance of reduced systemic exposure is unknown.
