Why is caution needed when Fostair 100/6 inhalation solution is used with ritonavir or cobicistat?

Although beclometasone is less dependent on CYP3A metabolism and interactions are generally unlikely, systemic effects cannot be excluded when Fostair 100/6 inhalation solution is used with strong CYP3A inhibitors such as ritonavir or cobicistat, so caution and appropriate monitoring are advised.
