Which patient groups have a higher incidence of bleeding complications during Aggrastat (tirofiban hydrochloride monohydrate) treatment?

During Aggrastat treatment, elderly patients, female patients and patients with low body weight have higher bleeding incidence than younger, male and higher-weight patients, respectively; risk also increases as renal function declines, and concomitant enoxaparin is associated with more cutaneous and oral bleeding, but not TIMI bleeds, than concomitant unfractionated heparin.
