The Aspen product Lidocaine 2% with adrenaline 1:200,000 solution for injection is contraindicated in hypersensitivity to methyl and/or propyl paraben or their metabolite para amino benzoic acid (PABA), and should be avoided in patients allergic to ester local anaesthetics or PABA.
