Suprax (cefixime) treats acute infections caused by susceptible organisms: upper respiratory infections (e.g. otitis media; other URTIs where resistance to commonly used antibiotics is known/suspected or treatment failure may carry significant risk), lower respiratory infections (e.g. bronchitis), and urinary infections (e.g. cystitis, cystourethritis, uncomplicated pyelonephritis).
