The ADVANZ Pharma thiopental sodium powder for solution for injection product can be prepared aseptically with Ph.Eur. water for injection, 0.9% sodium chloride infusion (9 mg/ml), or 5% dextrose infusion (50 mg/ml); concentrations below 2.0% in water are not used because they cause haemolysis.
