Arixtra (fondaparinux sodium) 7.5 mg/0.6 ml is indicated to treat acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and acute pulmonary embolism (PE) in adults, except in haemodynamically unstable patients or those requiring thrombolysis or pulmonary embolectomy.
