Which cholesterol disorders is rosuvastatin used to treat in adults?

In adults, rosuvastatin treats primary hypercholesterolaemia (IIa, including heterozygous familial) or mixed dyslipidaemia (IIb) alongside diet when diet and other non-drug measures are inadequate, and homozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia alongside diet and other lipid-lowering treatments, or when these treatments are inappropriate.
