Overly rapid intravenous infusion of the Sandoz Limited benzylpenicillin sodium 600 mg powder for solution for injection/infusion product may cause cerebral seizures and electrolyte imbalance; for intravenous doses above 1200 mg, a rate no greater than 300 mg/minute is recommended.
