What potentially serious electrolyte disturbance can occur with Combivent UDVs?

Combivent UDVs can cause potentially serious hypokalaemia, potentiated by xanthine derivatives, steroids or diuretics in severe airway obstruction; hypoxia may aggravate effects on cardiac rhythm, especially with digoxin, and serum potassium monitoring is recommended in these situations.
