Answer
Tirofiban, with aspirin and unfractionated heparin, prevents early heart attacks in adults with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndromes whose last chest pain occurred within 12 hours and who have ECG changes and/or elevated cardiac enzymes, and reduces major cardiovascular events in acute STEMI patients intended for primary PCI.
