Survanta (beractant) 25 mg/ml suspension has an 18-month shelf life; before administration, warm at room temperature for 20 minutes or in the hand for 8 minutes, never use artificial warming, discard each vial if unused within 8 hours of warming to room temperature, and do not refrigerate once warmed.
