In adults with established or high-risk atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, Nilemdo (bempedoic acid) reduces cardiovascular risk by lowering LDL-C alongside correction of other risk factors, with a maximum tolerated statin dose (with or without ezetimibe), or alone or with ezetimibe if statins are contraindicated or not tolerated.
