Oritavancin diphosphate infusion can cause upper-body flushing, urticaria, pruritus, rash, chest pain or discomfort, chills, tremor, back or neck pain, dyspnoea, hypoxia, abdominal pain and fever, including after multiple doses within one treatment course; stopping or slowing the infusion may resolve symptoms.
