What gastrointestinal side effects can Senokot cause?

Senokot 7.5 mg Tablets 12 Years Plus can cause abdominal pain, spasms and diarrhoea, especially with irritable colon or excessive doses (requiring dose reduction), and, with chronic use, intestinal lining pigmentation that usually recedes after stopping; frequencies are unknown.
