What effects on growth have been reported in children with Niemann-Pick type C disease taking miglustat (Zavesca)?

Some children with Niemann-Pick type C disease taking Zavesca (miglustat) have shown reduced growth early in treatment, with reduced weight gain accompanied or followed by reduced height gain; growth should be monitored and continuation reassessed individually.
