Reported adverse effects of alverine citrate, all of unknown frequency, include anaphylaxis, allergic reaction, dizziness, headache, dyspnoea and/or wheezing, nausea, jaundice due to hepatitis (typically resolving after stopping alverine), abnormal liver function tests, rash and itching.
