Following treatment for testicular cancer, patients require specialist monitoring for disease recurrence . Tumour markers, specifically alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels, are used post-operatively to monitor treatment response and detect disease relapse .
