Mild HSP nephritis (isolated haematuria or haematuria with mild proteinuria, normal BP and renal function) has an excellent prognosis and is managed with supportive care and monitoring. No immunosuppressive treatment is needed. Follow-up with urinalysis, blood pressure, and renal function should continue for at least 6-12 months as late deterioration can occur.
