Correct answer: AAt 4-6 weeks postnatal age or 31-32 weeks PMA (whichever is later)

ROP screening should begin at 4-6 weeks postnatal age or 31-32 weeks postmenstrual age (whichever is later) for infants born <32 weeks or <1500 g. Subsequent examinations are performed every 1-2 weeks until retinal vascularisation is complete or disease regresses. Treatment (laser or anti-VEGF) is indicated for type 1 ROP.
